EarthSense is a university field-robotics lab turned company. We build robots and AI that work without RTK GPS: under canopy, offline, and on machines a grower can afford. And we stay through the season to keep them working.

Where we come from

A decade of research, turned into products.

Our core methods were peer-reviewed at the field’s leading venues, won best-paper recognition, and were funded through competitive federal science programs. The sequence has stayed the same: publication, then patent, then product in the field.

The people who wrote the papers filed the patents and ship the product. When something needs fixing on your estate, the person who designed it is reachable.

What we’ve done

Two years in the field before we asked anyone to buy.

For two years we ran a closed beta with one of the world’s largest sustainable palm oil producers. We built the systems to apply fertilizer precisely and report the data accurately, through monsoon and dry seasons, on slope and peat.

Those systems are now open: Fertilizing-as-a-Service pilots for palm estates, and founding SmartSpray kits for orchard and vineyard growers.

Your data

The records are yours.

We ask estates to let us record every pass. Those records belong to the estate: the coverage maps, the dosing logs, and the palm census. We use them to run and improve your operation, and they export in the formats your buyers and auditors ask for.
