Straight answers

Do we have to buy the robots?
No. We own and maintain the hardware; you pay per hectare per year. A capital-purchase option exists if you'd rather own the iron.
Does it replace our drivers?
No. Your existing drivers, on your existing tractors, after a half-day of training. Dosing moves to the system; the driver drives.
How is this different from GPS variable-rate?
GPS variable-rate applies a block-level rate and can't see the palm in front of the tractor. SmartSpread identifies each palm in real time and skips vacant points.
How fast is a pilot on the ground?
Typically within 60 days of a signed scope: site visit, configuration, supervised first passes. The pilot then runs over a defined application window on named blocks, beside a control, so you get a measured read on your own ground rather than a demonstration.
Is this proven, or are we the experiment?
The two-year closed beta built the systems to apply fertilizer precisely and report the data accurately. The pilot proves them on your estate: your blocks, a control, numbers you measure with us.
